Description
You enter the estate via an electric gate & pass the first independent dwelling & continue up the drive to
the house.
The estate runs entirely on wind and solar power and is a unique example of sustainable living. There are
24 solar panels, batteries and 2 large windmills.
The setting is a fabulous location over looking the beach & just a two min walk to the sea, it thus boasts
both spectacular sea and mountain views, a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the country with the
beauty of being next to the beach.
The area was originally farming land and has two natural wells; the house is a fully restored Aljibe 'Water
Deposit' and has been styled using local stonework and wood. It sleeps up to 8 people, has 2 bathrooms,
large lounge room & a fully equipped kitchen. Towels & linen are provided & there is also a safe. The
master suite has a large double bed, spacious built in wardrobe & en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath &
shower. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, a double sofa bed & the second bathroom is next door.
For additional bed space there is a choice of a further double sofa bed or an Indonesian day bed in the
lounge room. Both bathrooms have Italian designed sinks & Moroccan Mirrors.
There are mature exotic gardens surrounding the property which include Mango, Banana, Guava & Lime
fruit trees & bushes. (great if you are here at the right season!) There is also an added bonus of farm eggs
every morning from our free-range hens.
The house also has it´s own terrace with sun loungers, BBQ and an outdoor thatch covered 'breeze
house' dining area with sea views.
There is an additional communal pool & chill out area consisting of a 10 meter lap pool, a jet pool, a
Polynesian style day bed with a covered thatched roof, a large open entertaining suite with a second
kitchen, gas BBQ, dining table, music system, Moroccan style seating area, and a guest toilet with shower.
This area is also set among mature gardens with panoramic sea and mountain views. This shared
swimming pool area has the option to be private for your exclusive use during your stay for an additional
cost (210 euros per week).
It is worth mentioning this property is extremely child friendly & special touches include the pool area
being gated, a wooden play area, a trampoline, table tennis, a sand football pitch, 4 bicycles & even a
resident donkey called Molly who can be ridden on request.
This northern area of Lanzarote is fantastic for walking/mountain biking etc. Or maybe you just want to
relax and read a good book next to the pool in peaceful surroundings. Arrieta village is within walking
distance and has the beauty of being a Canarian fishing Village along with all amenities needed such as
supermarkets, bakers, sea front tapas bars & fish restaurants that serve local cuisine.
